Today I switched out the OJ (that's smoothie afficionado talk for Orange Juice) in my usual smoothie recipe for pineapple juice. Yum! It's so much sweeter, I may make a habit of it. Anyway, my usual recipe is 1 cup of yogurt, 1 banana, 1 cup of juice, and 1 cup of frozen fruit, usually strawberries. Anyone else have an idea for additions? One day I was feeling a cold coming on so I tried some garlic and cayenne in my smoothie... NEVER AGAIN. But seems like ginger root might be tasty.
